Lately, Modipalm Engineering had put in a lot of efforts to improve on their Modipalm continuous steriliser. The most important single action is the Management agreed to upgrade the chain to one of higher breaking strength H1655 with a yield strength of 40 ton.
With the stronger chain and a newly implemented integrated control system, chain failure which is the bane of CS is now a thing of the past.

For palm oil process improvement, Modipalm had incorporated a post heating vessel to complete the cooking of the fruitlets and reintroduce the nut drying silo to condition nut for better nut cracking efficiency.

Well, the palm oil industry as we know had been in Malaysia since the fifties and still had not been perfected, The Modipalm CS system is barely ten-year old, just like a baby, alot of tender care is needed, so guys keep it up you are doing fine so far.

The last few years we see a lots of new activities in the process of Oil Palm especially the sterilisation process. It started with continuous sterilisation a join development by Malaysian Palm Oil Board and CBIP SB a Malaysian engineering firm. Suddenly we noticed a few other parties in the market developing the vertical steriliser, tilting steriliser, spherical steriliser, inclined steriliser and also different methods of charging and discharging the old horizontal steriliser.
